How much time do you have for yourself? Here are some tips to get the most out of it

Here are some ideas on how to recharge completely in a limited amount of time.

How much free time do you have a day? And how much of that do you spend on yourself? Most people are struggling with lack of time, while it is also true that we let a lot of time slip out of our hands: hanging on the internet, skimming articles, sitting in front of the TV, and we may not even think about what else those half hours might be good for. Admittedly, these activities also have their merits, the point is that it is worth being conscious about what we spend our time with.

A little attention and a thoughtful schedule can do wonders with our lives. And then we will be left with more time for the activities that recharge us and not just take our attention away. We can feel truly refreshed and more focused after. Here are some ideas on how to do it.

If you have half an hour

If you have half an hour of free time, think about what you want most at the moment and also what you will do next after your break. You may need some rest and it would be useful to get some extra energy in too. It might be best to sit back in a comfy sofa, listen to music, or just focus a little on your thoughts and feelings. You can even enhance this relaxing mood, for example, by combining relaxation with a nice massage. Feet and head massages take a short time but their effect is noticeable: they help you to turn off and invigorate your cells. If you find it difficult to relax, for a quick fix it is great to drop by a sauna: the heat will soon rid you of the physical and mental toxics.

For a really stressful day exercise can be one of the best ways to de-stress: even a few minute workout can lower anxiety, but if you are really determined, you can go for a walk or even better, for a run. The only difficult part is setting your mind on starting, the rest comes a lot easier and trust us, it's worth the effort.

Last but not least, there’s a very special way of relaxing that most women know very well: relaxing with a pampering session. If we look at the mirror with satisfaction, our self-confidence grows and we'll be happier. This is a great opportunity for a facial massage or a quick manicure.

If you have an hour and a half

You can do a lot of unwinding in one and a half hours and if you have this much time there is an even bigger selection of services available. For example you can go for a longer full body massage, somewhere in your neighborhood or on the go, so you wouldn’t need to travel so much. A spirit lifting massage or a Swedish massage can be great starts for the day before work, or you can relax after a long day with a lava stone massage, shoulder massage or a relaxing massage. If you want to completely turn your mind off for a while and forget about your problems, you can do that in a yoga class while relaxing in your inner silence. If you like more intense sports, you can leave the stress that you gathered during the day in a fitness class of your choice.

If you can take half a day off

Half a day is usually enough for complete regeneration. During this time you can build and complete a whole set of programs starting with a workout, continuing with detoxification and massage so that by the end you really feel like you've been transformed. The first and most obvious choices are baths and those fitness rooms where you can find everything in one place from exercise, such as swimming, aqua-fitness, body shaping, sauna and personalized treatments. It is worth taking the time to pick out the place you want to go to and finding the most perfect location for your needs where you can completely and uninterruptedly relax and where you have all you need to find your way back to yourself.

If you have a whole day

Everybody should take a day off sometimes just for themselves. Of course such a day can also be spent at home, on the couch with some snacks and a good book or movie, but there are a million other possibilities too. If this day is just yours, why not go somewhere new where you've never been to and try something new? We could hardly find a better time than fall for hiking and in the woods you can find the harmony that can so easily be lost in the city: the rich colors of the plants lift the mood, the smells and quiet calm you down and the walk contributes to your spiritual balance.
